Welcome to Tokyo. Upon your arrival at the airport, our tour representative will meet and assist you at the airport. You will be transferred to your hotel.
After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel and start your Tokyo City Tour.
Your visit will include the city’s main attraction such as the Metropolitan Government of Tokyo Shinjuku, which offers a fantastic spot for admiring the city. You will also see Meiji Jingu and visit the districts of Omotesando and Harajuku.
In the afternoon, you will explore the oldest Buddhist temple dedicated to Asakusa Kannon, called Asakusa Sensoji Temple. Very close from there, enjoy a walk in Nakamise, a shopping district from where you can buy souvenirs and discover more of the city’s daily life.
Finally, we will visit Ginza, a district famous for its focus on fashion. Return to the hotel.
After breakfast you will do the check-out. You will travel by private coach to Matsumoto. But on the way you will stop on lake Kawaguchi, a fantastic place from where you will admire and take pictures of Mount Fuji.
Upon arrival in Matsumoto, enjoy a photo stop at Matsumoto castle, a 16th century preserved Japanese-style castle. Next, let’s check out Shuzo, a Japanese sake brewery, before your transfer to the hotel.
Your guide will take you to Takayama, an old town where you will enjoy free time, followed by a visit to Jinya, an old town in the Hida alpine region that due its location developed a particular culture apart from the Japanese.
Continuation to Shirakawago, UNESCO World Heritage site, where you will visit Wada-ke, famous for its traditional Gassho-zukuri farmhouses.
Continuation to Kanazawa. Transfer to the hotel.
Your tour guide will take you to a tour in Kanazawa. The highlights are Kenrokuen, one of the most beautiful gardens in Japan, and Higashi-chaya-town, once a geisha house district.
Continuation to Osaka. Transfer to the hotel.
Your tour guide will take you to Kyoto. There you will visit the tori gates of Fushimi-Inari, the Kinkakuji Temple known as the “temple of the Golden Pavilion”.
In the afternoon, we will explore the former residence of the Tokugawa Shogun, called Nijo Castle. And finally, visit to the Gion geisha district.
Return to Osaka.
The evening before you must prepare a hand bag with your essential supplies because your luggage will be left at the hotel reception and despatched to your hotel in Tokyo (1 bag per person).
Your tour guide will take you to Nara, where you will explore the beautiful Todaiji temple, famous for its giant bronze statue of Buddha.
You will have fun trying to make Sushi and devouring the final results.
Time to continue to Ise.
Your guide will take you to visit Ise Jingu shrine and a traditional street market right in front of it called Okage Yokocho.
You will then depart for Nagoya, from where you will take the train to Tokyo or Shinagawa.
Transfer to your hotel in Tokyo.
It is the end of your tour. You will be transferred to the airport for your final departure.
