Similar to other Latin American countries the best time to visit Peru would be the dry season between May & October, especially if you plan ongoing tracking. The weather does tend to experience different temperatures. In the coastal areas, the temperatures range from 68 degrees Fahrenheit to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
