Upon your arrival at the airport you will be transferred to the hotel.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Enjoy a private city tour after the breakfast at the hotel. The tour includes historical attractions and yet it is relaxed enough to you enjoy it calmly. We will pass by “Plaza de Mayo” (May Square) and enjoy a coffee at the historical “Café Tortoni”. Let’s walk in San Telmo and watch the Tango in La Boca, walk along “Caminito Street” and discover the souvenir shops.
See the Boca Juniors soccer stadium and we can take you to Pasión Boquense Museum. We will go to Madero Port and while walking through Retiro you will encounter Recoleta, one of the most aristocratic areas of the city. Visit Palermo, some of the most exclusive residential areas before returning to your hotel.

In the evening you will be taken from the hotel for a typical Argentinian dinner at El Querandi. Afterwards, learn more about the story of Tango while enjoying a tango show.
You will be transferred to the airport to take the flight to Salta. Then you will be transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy a city tour in the afternoon, which includes the Cathedral Basilica, the Cultural Center of the Americas, Historical Museum of the North (Cabildo), San Francisco Minor Basilica, San Bernardo Convent of the Order of the Carmelites, Monument to Güemes, Cerro San Bernardo ascent and its panoramic view of the city.
Enjoy a round trip (160 km) from Salta to El Rey National Park and Las Youngas. Enjoy the fauna and flora of this place that is a true oasis in the middle of Northwest Argentina. You will see a variety of vegetation and at 2500 meters high tall grasslands dominate the landscape, giving place to the Montaño Forest .Highlights to Pecarí de Collar, the Chuña de Patas Rojas and the Corzuela Parda.
Return to Salta.
You will drive around 350km today to visit Salt Flats and their white grounds, a fantastic landscape and the third bigger in South America. The highlights are on the trip itself, as you will pass through "Train to the Clouds" and "Quebrada del Toro" towards San Antonio of the Coppers. Once in Puna, take the Route 40 towards "Salinas Grandes" in Jujuy.
By Cuesta de Lipan (4,170 meters high) you will start seeing Purmamarca, where you will be accommodated.
Note: Due altitude you will pass through some curves and precipices, yet it is a wonderful scenario.
You will face a 2h and 40 min drive today to visit "Quebrada de Humahuaca", a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
On the way, many pleasant places are waiting for you, such as Maimará, "Painter's Palette", Tilcara, "The Pucara of Tilcara" archaeological ruins, Humahuaca, Tropic of Capricorn, Uquía (Pinturas Cuzqueñas). Finally, visit Humahuaca and the Independence Monument.
Overnight in Humahuaca.
Choose what you would like to do on day 7. You can either visit La Quiaca or Iruya.
- La Quiaca - Villazon (Bolivia) and Yavi:
It is on the border crossing between Argentina and Bolivia and the nearby sites are Yavi, Misa Rumi, Casira, Santa Catalina, Laguna de Pozuelos, among others. Yavi is a cute small town in the middle of the mountains and with a lot of history
- Iruya: A charming town very close to the mountain. On the way you will admire beautiful landscape and, in case you would like, close to San Isidro there is a trekking (medium to difficult). If you choose this option we suggest you to spend the night there since the journey is long and tiring.
Overnight in Humahuaca.
Visit to Hornocal, located only 25km from Humahuaca. The mountain is 4761 meters high (above sea level) and offers balconies with fantastic views.
Return to Humahuaca and continue to Salta for overnight.
You will leave Salta and go towards the Calchaquíes Valley (5h drive). You will pass by Quebrada de Escoipe, Cuesta del Obispo, El Valle Encantado and Los Cardones National Park.
In Quebrada de Escoipe you will admire multi-coloured mountains and a variety of vegetation. Cuesta Del Obispo on the other hand is a path that connects the Lerma Valley with the Upper Calchaquí Valley. It is more than 3,400 meters high above sea level, a magical experience.
You can pass through the Enchanted Valley if you wish, as it is close to Cuesta del Obispo. It is only 4km long and you can do it by foot.
Finally, at Los Cardones National Park you will find 65 thousand hectares covered by cardoons.
Arrival at Cachi and accommodation.
You will hit the road again, this time towards Cafayate (5h drive). On the way, pass by Seclantas, Molinos and Angastaco. You can also pass through Quebrada de las Flechas (Ravine Arrows) and see its rocky walls.
Once you arrive in Cafayate, you can explore this colonial settlement that has many vineyards. Overnight in Cafayate.
Visit the vineyards, some are internationally famous.
Return to Salta after lunch via the Shells ́ Gorge, so you can explore the peculiar rock formations caused by the rain and wind.
Arrival in Salta after crossing the Lerma Valley (3h-4h drive).
You will drive to the airport and drop off the car. Then you will take the flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival you will be taken to your hotel.
Transfer to the airport to catch the flight back home. End of the tour.
