In Jordan, you can stop by Wadi Rum, a protected desert that has been used as a location for many international films, including Lawrence of Arabia as it’s famous for its eye catching red sandstone formations and it’s well-known as the "Valley of the Moon". The valley is home to ancient petroglyphs and Bedouin camps. Visitors can explore the valley on a 4x4 vehicle, walking on foot, or riding a camel.

The early 1980’s is the period this mosque was built and it was officially launched in 1989. The mosque is a magnificent example of Islamic architecture, presenting a large central dome and four minarets. The building is made of white marble and presents complex geometric patterns and calligraphy, while from the inside it is decorated with beautiful mosaics and beautifully painted glass windows in addition to a very well built wood structure and it accommodates up to 7,000 worshippers at a time. 
One another Islamic city is (Jerash), this ancient Islamic city is a fascinating destination which is a very special mix between the Roman and the Islamic history and culture. As Jerash was once a flourishing city during the Roman Empire, and its ruins are now one of the best-remained examples of the Roman architecture, also it has a rich Islamic heritage. After the Islamic conquering of the region in the 7th century, Jerash became an important center of Islamic learning and culture. 
In Egypt, you can explore the Islamic Cairo area, which is a home to several historic mosques and other Islamic landmarks such as Al-Azhar Mosque, Mosque of Muhammad Ali, Sultan Hassan Mosque & Al-Hussein Mosque.
