The Classic Chile

Upon arrival at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel. 

In the afternoon you will enjoy a Santiago City Tour, and visit the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Post and the Municipality of Santiago.

Next, visit the Government Palace and some old neighbourhoods, such as Plaza Concha and Toro, as some modern ones too.

Return to the hotel. 

After breakfast, visit to Viña del Mar, called "Garden City". It offers beautiful architecture and streets, palaces and the famous "Quinta Vergara". 

Transfer to Valparaiso, a UNESCO Cultural Heritage. Enjoy the picturesque elevators, colourful neighbourhoods and unique landscapes. At the end of the city tour you can opt for an extra activity, to take a boat from the port and enjoy the view from the sea. 

Return to Santiago de Chile.

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival, you will be assisted at the airport by our representative who will take you to the bus terminal to Puerto Natales (3h of road trip). Upon arrival you will be taken to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Visit to the Natural Monument Cueva del Milodón followed by villa Cerro Castillo for a short break before continuing to Torres del Paine National Park.

There you will see the lakes of Sarmiento, Nordenskjold and the Pehoé, and explore the rich fauna. We will walk to Salto Grande and continue up the main road to Grey Lake, crossing the forest on foot (30 min walk).

Finally, we will arrive on the beach that borders the lake. There you will admire the view of icebergs that come off the glacier. 

Following lunch, we will return to Puerto Natales.

Note: It is possible to overnight in camps between treks. Ask for more information if interested.

You will enjoy a sea excursion to the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers. The sailing lasts 4h through the Fjord of Last Hope to the Bernardo O'Higgins National Park. On the way, spot colonies of sea lions and cormorants.

The navigation continues to Mount Balmaceda, and the glacier of same name can be seen from the boat. On the other hand, we will face a 20 minutes’ walk along a path that borders a small lake to visit Serrano.

Lunch in Estancia Perales. Return to Puerto Natales in the afternoon.

We will escort you to the bus terminal to take the bus to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival we will transfer you to the airport and you will fly to Puerto Montt. 

Transfer to your hotel in Puerto Varas. 

You will enjoy an excursion to Chiloé Island, on the way to Puerto Montt and Pargua. In Pargua, cross the Chacao Canal by ferry. On the way you can admire the seabirds and small dolphins. 

Upon arrival in Chacao, visit to Plaza e Iglesia del Pueblo and continuation to Dalcahue to visit the Craft Fair and the Church Of Our Lady De Los Dolores. 

Next, continuation to Castro, capital of Chiloe Island. Take pictures of the Palafitos Manuel Montt, visit the Church of San Francisco and the Handicraft Market.

Return to Puerto Varas.

Transfer to Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. Enjoy the landscape with the snow-capped volcanoes Osorno and Calbuco in the background. 

Upon arrival in Lake All Saints, walk along the trails surrounded by an evergreen forest, the Osorno Volcano and the Petrohué River. Pass by "Saltos del Petrohué" and continue to Port of Petrohué, from where you will take a boat (1h30 trip) to see All Saints or Esmeralda Lake, forests, mountains and volcanoes. 

Arrival in Peulla, a small town on the border with Argentina. Enjoy the place and have lunch if you’d like. It is possible to choose an optional excursion to the park and enjoy outdoor activities such as canopy, horseback riding, fishing trips, jet boat rides and safaris 4x4. 

Take the boat back to Petrohué in the afternoon. We will transfer you to Puerto Varas.

Transfer to the airport and fly to Calama. Upon arrival you will be taken to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. The rest of the day is free. 

Visit to Toconao, a village that offers regional handicrafts and you will see the Tower of San Lucas, a national monument.

Continuation to Salar de Atacama and entering the Los Flamencos National Reserve. From there you will head towards the plateau and reach the Miscanti and Miñiques Lagoons. On the way, visit Socaire, a small village that is the home of a small church of San Bartolomé. 

Return to San Pedro.

Enjoy San Pedro in the morning. 

Transfer to the Valley of the Moon in the afternoon, part of the Flamencos National Reserve. There, explore the Ckari Ravine, the Salt Caverns, the famous rock formations called Three Watchers, the Dune Major, the Honda Quebrada and the Coyote Stone.

Return to San Pedro.

Tour to Geysers del Tatio and to Machuca. It starts at 5am and it will take 2 hours to reach the geothermal field (temperature is about -15oC), where breakfast will be served.

Stop at a thermal perch, then let’s continue to the Bofedal of Putana and arrive in Machuca, a small village with wide gastronomic offer.

Return to San Pedro arriving at noon and transfer to the airport to take the flight to Santiago. Transfer to the hotel at the airport.

Take the flight back home at the established time. End of the tour
