Egypt Christmas Tour

Your tour manager will greet & assist you upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport. Then you will be transferred to your hotel.

After check-in, please spare some minutes to confirm your tour timetable for your Egypt Christmas Tour with your tour manager. 

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then, your guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to start your Egypt Christmas tour, where you visit the Great Pyramids of Giza. Then you will visit the famous Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Lunch at a local restaurant. 
Visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the oldest significant stone building that was built during the third dynasty for King Djoser.

After breakfast, your tour guide will accompany you to start your Egypt Tour with the Egyptian Museum, which exhibits the largest collection of pharaonic items in the world.

Time to discover the best of Old Cairo in the Islamic and Coptic neighborhood of the city and visit Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue. Then we stop by Khan El Khalili, a lively bazaar that exists since the XIV century.

In the early morning, you will be escorted to Cairo airport to take your flight to Aswan where a representative will escort you to your Nile Cruise. 
After lunch, the first visit will be to the High Dam, built as an ultimate solution for the Nile floods. Next, you will visit the charming Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess of love Isis. The last tour of the day will be to the ancient quarries of Aswan, where lies the Unfinished Obelisk. Overnight on board.

Sail to Kom Ombo after breakfast. In Kom Ombo you will visit the temple of Kom Ombo, which was duplicated in order to serve two gods. One side is dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile-headed god, and the other side is dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god. Kom Ombo was also a healing center. Sail to Edfu. Visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, the best-preserved temple in Egypt. Sail to Esna and Overnight.

On this day, you will visit Karnak and Luxor Temples. Karnak is a fantastic religious ancient complex, the largest in the world, and Luxor Temple is the house of Amun.

Disembark on the cruise after breakfast.

Explore the Valley of the Kings, which served as the eternal resting place of pharaohs during the New Kingdom. You will be mesmerized by the uniqueness of the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut; her temple is the most important monument in the valley. Finally, check out the statues of King Amenhotep III called Colossi of Memnon.

Then, you will be transferred to Luxor airport to take the flight back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.
