Itinerary at a Glance

Day 1: Thursday - Mexico City - Queretaro - San Miguel de Allende

We'll pick you up this morning before 9:00 a.m. and head out into the big city where you will start your Mexico trip. We will travel to Queretaro, a charming city that has been significant to Mexican history, this morning. Following a quick tour of the town's historically significant center, which has been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, it is located at the foot of a basin surrounded by hills, from where you have wonderful views. The Aqueduct, The Cross Convent, and The Historical Center are among the places you'll see.
Our next stop will be San Miguel de Allende, one of Mexico's most stunning colonial cities. Allow us to show you the highlights of the city, including the famed "Parish of San Miguel," the unique Neo-Gothic church with the pink, sugar-candy pointed spires. In the late 1800s, an untutored Indian named Zeferino Gutierrez created these odd towers. The much-loved picture of the Cristo de la Conquista, constructed from maize stalks and orchid bulbs by Indians in Patzcuaro in the 16th century, may be found in the main chapel.
You will have some free time in the evening to eat dinner and take in the city's nighttime atmosphere. This is also a great time to do some traditional shopping for crafts.

Day 2: Friday -San Miguel De Allende – Guanajuato

We will travel to Dolores Hidalgo after breakfast at the hotel. The legendary "Grito de Dolores" was delivered by Miguel Hidalgo, the founding father of Mexico and this little community (Act of Independence). This deed represents the beginning of the Mexican independence struggle in the early nineteenth century. After that, we travel to Guanajuato, a city that UNESCO has designated a World Heritage Site.
The splendor of this city, with its winding alleyways, Plazuela shaded by Indian laurels, its wide range of ornamental styles, its Mummy Museum (optional visit), and its intriguing underground avenue, will astound you. Among the colonial towns in Mexico, the city is a true gem. The Hidalgo market, Juarez Theater, University, "Alley of the Kiss," and the monument to El Pipila, an Independence hero, are all included in this tour, which would be primarily done on foot.

Meals: Breakfast.

Day 3: Saturday - Guanajuato – Zacatecas

Continuing with your Mexico Trip, You will depart in the morning for the lovely city of Zacatecas (UNESCO), a spectacular historical landmark from the vice-royal era that is situated on a hillside of the Cerro de la Bufa. Narrow alleyways and stone-paved streets, pink quarry stone constructions and plazas, filigree ironwork on balconies, and an exceptional profile are all the result of time-honored polish.
When the city was first established in 1548, residents of the nearby mines initially lived there. With time, it developed into a gorgeous architectural cultural hub. Visit the 1752-built cathedral, which is regarded as a masterpiece of the baroque style. Its main entrance, carved in pink quarry stone, has a big rose in the center and is decorated with garlands of flowers and greenery that resemble delicate lace. From Cerro de la Bufa, where we ride the cable car and visit the Eden mine, you will enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the city.
As we board a tiny train with slender carriages like those used to transport priceless minerals during the New Spain era, it will be a fantastic experience to enter the pit.

Meals: Breakfast.

Day 4: Sunday - Zacatecas - Tlaquepaque – Guadalajara

We will go to Tlaquepaque, a pottery community in western Mexico. Mexico's largest and most important arts and crafts hub, Tlaquepaque, hosts goods from all across the country. The local culture and art are still quite strong in Tlaquepaque. Numerous Jalisco's most gifted artists are drawn to it because of its reputation for high-quality and varied goods. El Parian, located in the center of Tlaquepaque, is a popular spot for people to unwind and watch other people, eat some food from the area, or simply sit and observe life as it goes on in this little town. We continue to Guadalajara, which is close by and is home to many of Mexico's most cherished customs. Guadalajara is the second-largest city you will visit during your Mexico trip.

Meals: Breakfast.

Day 5: Monday -Tequila and Guadalajara

Today's voyage begins with a trip to Guadalajara, where we will see the Government Palace, the Degollado Theater, and a panoramic view of Hospicio Cabaas (UNESCO Place if Open to Public). Then, we'll move on to Tequila, the town where the most well-known alcoholic beverage was first produced. We will be treated to breathtaking vistas of agave plantations on the journey to Tequila.
We will tour one of the most famous haciendas devoted to the manufacturing of tequila in the vibrant town of Tequila to find out more about how the national beverage of Mexico is made. Of course, we'll also have a chance to sample some tequila! After that, proceed back to Guadalajara.

Meals: Breakfast.

Day 6: Tuesday - Guadalajara - Patzcuaro – Morelia

Proceeding to you Mexico trip. You will have breakfast, and then we'll continue on to Pátzcuaro, a magnificent town on a vast lake that is well-known for its colonial splendor and distinctive for its long-standing traditions. Its highlights include the historic district, the House of the Eleven Patios, and the Basilica of Our Lady of Health. The most entertaining Purépecha custom is perhaps the "Danza de Los Viejitos," or "Dance of the Old Men." At the end of the afternoon, after some free time, we travel to Morelia. Viceroy Antonio de Mendoza built this lovely city in 1541 and gave it the name Valladolid. To honor Don Jose Maria Morelos y Pavon, a hero of the Mexican independence fight, the city's name was changed to Morelia in 1828.
The most aristocratic of Mexico's colonial cities is Morelia. Enjoy the range of cafes and eateries serving regional specialties.

After that, we'll head to Tepotzotlan for a quick visit to this picturesque town and its imposing church (nowadays the Vice Regal Museum).
