Once you arrive at the airport, our representative will meet and assist you. Then you will be transferred to your hotel in Kigali.

Check-in followed by dinner.

Overnight: Mille Colline Rwanda 

You will start your journey with the Kigali City tour and then later be transferred to Musanze, where you will check in to your lodge and have lunch. 

Visit to the magnificent twin lakes of Burela and Ruhondo, in the heart of the gorillas’ natural habitat. Their vibrant blue water enclosed by steep hills and grand waterfalls with the outlines of the neighboring volcanoes provide a mesmerizing backdrop. Through the excursions you will explore the splendid land of a thousand hills and bask in its extraordinary beauty.

Overnight: Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge 

Early morning wake up. Will have breakfast at 6 am and then be transferred to the RDP park office for the golden monkey trekking briefing at 7 am. The trek will start at 8 am.

You will have one hour to visit the monkeys in their natural habitat. One of the two habituated groups of Golden Monkey is made up of about 80 – 100 members and its base is at the foot of the Mt. Sabyinyo.

After the golden monkey trekking, you will return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy cultural entertainment at ibyi iwacu cultural village, where you can get a real glimpse into the lives, cultures and traditions of the region’s rural people. They are a tucked-away community of people that rely on poaching and bush meat for survival. The village encourages people to have a first-hand experience with this preserved and unique lifestyle.

You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the local dances, listen to Gorilla songs, eat traditionally- prepared food and hear old folklore!

Overnight: Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge 

Another early start at 6 am where you will be driven to the Volcanoes National Park for Gorilla Trekking. The park has a vibrant assortment of montane ecosystems, full of evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp, and heath. The highlight of the trip will be spending a full hour with the

Gorillas and watching them in their natural habitat, eating, playing and resting. Trekking briefing that takes place at 7:00 am. You will then start your walk at 8:00 am.

After your trek, you will drive to the Mountain Gorilla view Lodge to wind down before lunch. Later in the afternoon you will transfer to Lake Kivu for some fun explorations.

Enjoy another early morning breakfast by the sunrise, and then start your kayaking trip on Lake Kivu. You’ll marvel at the striking coastline dotted with traditional fishing boats and with a backdrop of stunning lush green hills. 

After lunch, you will be driven back to Kigali to be dropped off at the airport for your departure flight.
