Day 1: Arrive Riyadh

Day 2: Riyadh Day Tour

Start your tour to Saudi Arabia by visiting Diriyyah, a site of historical significance located on the outskirts of Riyadh. This heritage-listed location is believed to be the birthplace of the first Saudi state and currently serves as the residence for the royal family. The mud-brick walls that surround this area were once a defensive structure for a prosperous desert city that thrived in culture and trade. In 1745, it was designated as the capital city, laying down the groundwork for what would eventually evolve into a unified Saudi Arabia.

Take a leisurely stroll through the old town to marvel at its numerous ancient ruins, including an impressive palace, traditional houses, and bustling marketplace. Afterward, make your way to Masmak Fort in Riyadh's historic quarter. This fortress was constructed during Abdullah bin Rashid's reign in 1895 A.D. As you explore further, take some time to visit Dirah Souq – renowned for its vibrant textiles ranging from silk fabrics to luxurious pashminas – before pausing for lunch.

In the afternoon portion of your itinerary, allow yourself to be guided through an enlightening tour of the National Museum; an esteemed national treasure and World Heritage Site boasting eight galleries that comprehensively narrate Arabian history - starting from cosmic creation up until modern times.

Continue onwards towards Murabba Palace which was built by King Abdul Aziz in 1937. Serving as both his residence and familial abode; this architectural gem is crafted using local materials while comprising several smaller structures.

Day 3: Flight from Riyadh to AlUla

This day in your tour to Saudi Arabia you will be headed to the airport for your flight to Al-Ula, located in the northwest. Once you arrive, take the opportunity to explore Madain Saleh, which is recognized as a World Heritage site. This ancient city was called 'Al Hegra' in ancient times and served as an important stop along a lucrative trade route. It was part of the southernmost settlement of the Nabatean kingdom. Spread across an area of 2000 square meters, Madain Saleh boasts an impressive collection of relics and tombs that were carved into rocks.

During your visit, make sure to see notable attractions such as the Nabatean Well, Qasr Al Bint, Diwan Tomb, Al Farid Palace, and even a preserved railway station. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant while on this tour.

If time permits after exploring Madain Saleh's wonders, head towards Harrat Uairedh - known for its breathtaking panoramic views that encompass the surrounding landscape. From this vantage point situated at the highest point in town,enjoy sipping Arabic coffee or tea while indulging in delicious dates as you witness a stunning sunset unfold before your eyes.

Return to your hotel in AlUla where you will spend two nights enjoying all it has to offer.

Day 4: Al Ula Tours

Commence your full day of touring in AlUla by meeting your guide in the hotel lobby. Spend the day exploring the fascinating World Heritage sites of Dadan and Jabal Ikmah. Jabal Ikmah is often referred to as an enormous open-air library, boasting the highest concentration and most diverse range of inscriptions found in AlUla. Dadan, on the other hand, served as the capital for both the Dadan and Lihyan kingdoms. This city made of stone holds a rich history that dates back to between 9th and 8th century BCE. Within its boundaries lie more than ten tombs intricately carved into red-rock cliffs, with one of them being exceptionally famous - known as 'Lion Tombs'. These tombs feature seated lion sculptures that signify their role as burial grounds for members of elite society.

After completing your mountain explorations, continue your journey by visiting the Old Town area where you can delve into Al-Ula's historical significance while taking a leisurely stroll through its Oasis and local farms. As part of this experience, you will also have an opportunity to meet a local family and share a cup of tea with them—an authentic way to connect with Al-Ula's vibrant community.

To refuel after these adventures, make sure to stop at Elephant Rock—a truly iconic landmark and one of the best attractions you will meet in your tour to Saudi Arabia.

At nightfall, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Flight Back from AlUla to Riyadh

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and take some time to enjoy all the amenities it has to offer. Afterward, you will be transferred to Al-Ula airport for your domestic flight back to Riyadh. Once you arrive in Riyadh, a private transfer will take you to your hotel where you can check in and relax for the night. Don't forget to start your day right with a hearty breakfast!

Day 6: Riyadh Final Departure

Marking the end of your tour to Saudi Arabia, you will be Proceeded to the Riyadh airport for your return flight home after completing the checkout process.
