Itinerary at a Glance

Day 1: Arrival In Istanbul

Upon your arrival at Istanbul airport, you will be greeted by our representative. We will then transfer you to your hotel for the night in Istanbul.

 

Day 2: Istanbul Tour

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, our full-day tour of the city begins. Our first stop is the renowned Hagia Sophia, an iconic monument that defines Istanbul. This architectural masterpiece is not only highly revered but also one of the largest churches in the world.

Next, we will explore the majestic Topkapi Palace, which served as the residence for the sultans from 1478 to 1856. This sprawling complex is not just a single structure, but a magnificent collection of kiosks, gardens, and areas spread throughout the historic center of Istanbul, all the way to the tip of the Golden Horn.

Our journey then takes us to the Blue Mosque, famous for its striking six minarets and stunning domes that grace its central building. The architect's pursuit of perfection is evident in every detail of this awe-inspiring piece of architecture.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Roman Hippodrome, a venue that entertained the people of Constantinople for over a thousand years with chariot races and circuses during the Seventh Severe period.

To end our day, we will explore the vibrant Grand Bazaar, a covered market where you will have free time to indulge in shopping and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere.

After an eventful day, we will return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay in Istanbul.

Day 3: Bosphorus Tour

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will begin our day with a visit to the Egyptian Bazaar or Spice Bazaar in Istanbul's old Eminönü neighborhood. This historical bazaar, constructed in the seventeenth century, is a must-see. Following that, we will embark on a boat tour of the Bosphorus, which will take us along both sides of the city - the Asian and European sides. As we cruise along the Sea of Marmara, you will have the opportunity to admire iconic landmarks such as Dolmabahce Palace, Çiragan Palace, and the imposing Rumeli Hisarı fortress. Our next stop will be the Beylerbeyi Palace, a stunning white marble palace built by Sultan Abdulaziz in the 19th century. This palace served as a summer residence for later sultans and hosted foreign dignitaries. To complete our day, we will ascend Çamlica Hill, also known as the Hill of Lovers, where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Bosphorus and Istanbul. Afterward, we will return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Istanbul.

Day 4: Istanbul - Ankara (By bus 450 Km)

Departure from your city-centered hotels will take place between 12:00-13:00. Our coach will transport you to Ankara, passing through Istanbul's intercontinental bridge. Upon arrival in the country's capital, you will enjoy dinner at the hotel and spend the night in Ankara.

Day 5: Ankara - Salt Lake - Cappadocia

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a visit to the captivating capital of Turkey. Explore the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, which showcases a fascinating exhibition of ancient remnants including Palaeolithic, Neolithic, Hittite, Phrygian, and Urartu artifacts. Don't miss the impressive Ataturk Mausoleum, a tribute to the visionary founder of the Turkish Republic. Afterward, we'll make our way to Cappadocia (290 km), with a stop along the route to discover one of the remarkable Underground Cities constructed by Christian communities as a means of protection. These underground marvels feature stables, communal spaces, meeting rooms, and even small family quarters. Finally, we will arrive in the enchanting Cappadocia region, where you'll enjoy a delightful dinner and spend the night.

Day 6: Cappadocia Tour

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Then, embark on an incredible adventure exploring the breathtaking region of Cappadocia. Discover the awe-inspiring Goreme Valley, known for its remarkable fairy chimneys that are unlike anything else in the world. Marvel at the ancient cave churches adorned with exquisite paintings from the 10th and 11th centuries. Make a stop at the troglodyte village of Uçhisar and be captivated by its unique charm. Take some time to visit Avcilar, which offers a mesmerizing landscape that will leave you in awe. The Derbent valley awaits, showcasing its intriguing natural rock formations. Lastly, indulge in the experience of artisan workshops, where you can admire the craft of carpets and marvel at onyx stones mounted on silver jewelry. Conclude your day with a delicious dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Day 7: Cappadocia - Pamukkale (By bus 610 Km)

Begin the day with breakfast and prepare for the journey to Pamukkale. Along the way, make a stop at Sultanhan Caravanserai, an ancient inn from the Seljuk period. Afterwards, continue the trip to Pamukkale. Take advantage of some free time to explore the mesmerizing "Cotton Castle," known for its one-of-a-kind limestone hot spring pools and the stunning travertine waterfalls. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in Pamukkale.

Day 8: Pamukkale - Ephesus - Izmir (200 km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Exit for Selçuk-Efeso. Arrival and visit the archaeological area of Ephesus, a city dedicated to Artemis. The Odeon, the Temple of Hadrian, the House of Love, the Library of Celsus, the Agora, the Marble Street, and the largest Theater of antiquity. Visit to the House of the Virgin, the supposed last dwelling place of the Mother of Jesus. Stop at a leather production center and continue to Izmir- (~ 85 km.), The third largest city in Turkey. Dinner and overnight in Izmir.

Day 9: Izmir - Pergamon - Troy - Çanakkale

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, embark on a journey to Pergamon, which is now known as Bergama, located about 110 km away. Upon arrival, explore the mesmerizing ruins of Asclepion, once the most prominent hospital in Asia Minor with its renowned therapeutic center. Next, make your way to Troy, approximately 190 km from Pergamon. Immerse yourself in the rich history of this famous archaeological city, which brings to life the epic tale of the Iliad as immortalized by Homer. Finally, continue your adventure to Çanakkale, just 25 km from Troy. Here, enjoy a delectable dinner and spend the night. Indulge in breakfast and dinner as part of this remarkable journey.

Day 10: Çanakkale - Gallipoli - Anzac Cove - Istanbul

We will begin our day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a journey across the Dardanelles Strait via a car ferry. Our destination is the Gallipoli Peninsula, where we will have the opportunity to explore one of Turkey's most poignant landmarks - the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli. This historical site holds great emotional significance and includes notable places such as Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston's Jolly, Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels, 57th Regiment Turkish Memorial, The Nek, and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. After a day filled with exploration and reflection, we will return to Istanbul for the night. Enjoy your breakfast as it is included in the package.

Day 11: Departure Istanbul

Start your day off right with a delicious breakfast before heading to Istanbul airport for your departure flight. Enjoy a satisfying meal to fuel you for your journey ahead. Don't forget to savor the flavors and make the most of this important meal of the day. Once you've finished breakfast, it's time to make your way to the airport and continue your travels.
