Itinerary at a Glance
Arrival in Thimphu | Tour in Thimphu
Upon your arrival you will be met and assisted by our representative and taken to your hotel.
In the evening, we will take a tour and walk around Triumph Street and the Market Area. Another great place to check out is the Local Crafts Bazaar, in which you can purchase woven textiles, Thangkha Paintings, ceramics & more, all items crafted locally.
Tour in Thimphu
Today, we will be exploring the city from top to bottom, which calls for a hearty and delicious breakfast.
Our visits of the day will be to The Zorig Chusum, textile museum among others.
After lunch, we will take a 15-kilometre drive to Pangri Zampa, making our way to Budha point & Trashichhoedzong from there.
Transfer to Punakha
After breakfast we will drive to Punakha for a day of discovery across Douchula.
The evening will be spent exploring Pynakha, a village located on the banks of the river.
Chimi Lhakhang
Today will be a light day of touring and exploring to Chimi Lhakhang, which 15 minutes from the hotel.
We will walk through the paddy fields of the area on route to Punakha Dzong.
Arrival in Paro
Once you're done with breakfast we will take a drive to Paro, passing by the dramatic Ang Chhu & Paro Chhu river Valleys.
We will visit the SImtokha Dzong before we make a final retreat to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay.
Tours in Paro
Once you've had time to enjoy a delightful breakfast, we will embark onto the Taktshang Monastery, making a stop at Drukgyel Dzong as we head back to town.
Another great landmark we will be checking out today will be the seventh-century Kyichu Lhakhang.
Finally, we will be spending the evening exploring the main street and the adjacent market area.
Tour in Paro
Our touring for the day will take us to our first stop the National Museum and then, a short walk away lies the Imposing Paro Dzong. We will also pass by several other fascinating venues, some of which are the Myamai Zampa Picnic spot and the distinctively shaped Dumtse Lhakhang and its artistic wall paintings.
Finally, the last part of our touring for the day will take us to the streets of Paro, giving you the chance to get some Himalayan artefacts to show to your friends and family back home.
Final Departure
Once you've had the chance to have breakfast and check out, our representative will escort you to the airport for your flight back home.
