Salvador and Chapada Diamantina National Park

Itinerary at a Glance
Day 1: Arrival in Salvador
Upon your arrival in Salvador, our tour representative will meet and assist you at the airport and take you to your hotel.
The rest of the day is yours to relax from the trip or to discover the city by yourself.
Day 2: Transfer to Lençóis
After breakfast, you will be taken to the bus station to take the bus to Lençóis, 428 Km from Salvador. On the way, enjoy the view.
Transfer to your hotel.
Day 3: Capão Valley | Smoke Waterfall | Riachinho
Enjoy a nearly 4km hike through the Capão Valley. Enjoy the stunning views and soon we will arrive at the Smoke Waterfall, the most impressive waterfall in Brazil after the Iguaçu Falls.
Enjoy a picnic lunch and on our way back to Lençóis we will stop by Riachinho Waterfalls for swimming time.
Day 4: Diamantina caves
This day will be dedicated to exploring the National Park´s caves and underground rivers. Let´s visit the Sweet Lapa Cave of beautiful stalactites and rock formations.
Next, we will visit Pratinha River and swim on its transparent waters. Stop for a picnic lunch.
Finally, visit to the famous Blue Cave and hike the Morro do Pai ignácio in time for the sunset. Enjoy some of the most remarkable landscapes of the continent.
Day 5: Ribeirão River | Sossego Waterfalls | Ribeirão do Meio
It will be another day well spent. Time for a trail of 7km following the Ribeirão River and reach the Sossego Waterfalls, where you will be able to swim and enjoy the picnic lunch.
On the way back to Lençóis we will stop at Ribeirão do Meio, a natural pool with natural rock slide.
Day 6: Return to Salvador
Take the bus to return to Salvador, then you will be transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy the free time at leisure.
Day 7: Sightseeing in Salvador
Visits in Salvador, which is a historical city. You will see its colonial mansions and monuments, including Pelourinho, Bonfim Church and Lacerda Elevator.
After lunch we will visit the outskirts of the city for views of the port area of All Saints Bay.
Day 8: Final Departure
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home or to your nest destination. End of the tour.*
