It might just be another day in Delhi for everyone else but to you its the start of ana amazing adventure in an exotic land. Upon arriving at Delhi airport you will have a meet and greet with our Memphis tours executive for a drive to your hotel and assistance with the hotel check-in as Delhi anticipates your next move.
Its time to take Delhi by storm but what about a nutritious breakfast to keep you going through your day of touring. Once you've had the time to enjoy your breakfast we will head to our first stop in Delhi, The Red Fort ( the Red Fort is closed on Mondays). The fort is a tribute to beauty with exquisite places & colourful gardens. Our next stop will be Jama Masjid which is primarily formed of red sandstone and marble where more than 20,000 individuals kneel in prayer, often fully in sync. The mosque on the inside, including floors, are made of marble.
For the next part of your touring, we will be visiting the Raj Ghat, on the Banks of River Yamuna via rickshaw ride. Afterwards, our driver will take us through Lutyens Delhi to see the India Gate. The historic gate was built in commemoration to 70,000 Indian soldiers who had all met their ends in the first world war. The next stop will be a photoshoot session at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the current residence of the Indian president. Later in the day, we will be visiting the Qutub Minar a tower symbolizing victory that was started in 1199 and finalized in 1368, finally retreating to the hotel and calling it a day.
After breakfast, you will be driven to Agra. It is a town famous for its beautiful medieval monuments. On arrival in Agra, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later, you will visit the world-famous monument of India the Taj Mahal, a poem in white marble, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. (Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.)
Its breakfast time and then a drive to your next stop in teh golden triangle Agra, a town famous for its captivating medieval monuments. upon arrival to Agra, you will first be taken to your hotel to give you time to prepare for your next visit, the world-famous Taj Mahal, a poem of beauty sculptured from top to bottom in marble. The Taj was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his much-loved spouse. Another optional trip you can take would be to Agra Fort via a Tonga, an open carriage house dragged means of transportation since the days of old. Once you've had your fill of the site we will head back to your designated hotel.
Upon grabbing your morning meal, we will drive onwards to Chambal for a transfer to your hotel & check-in. Later on the day, we will embark on a river safari where you will get the chance to explore the calm waters of the Chambal river while giving you a great view of the surrounding wildlife. Don't worry you won't be intruding on the lake's wildlife as the boatman has mastered the art of navigating the waterway without disturbance. There will also be a trained naturalist with you on the ride to answer all your question with teh day ending at your hotel and an overnight stay in Chambal.
You've probably worked quite an appetite with all that adventuring yesterday so let's kick things off with a fulfilling breakfast. Today it will be a stay in at the hotel but before that, you will take a drive to your hotel in Ranthambore, wherein the evening you will watch a documentary setting the stage for what to expect while visiting the park and preparing you for the adventure.
Its the morning of your sixth day in India and the start of your jungle safari. in the middle of the safari, we will be revisiting the hotel for some breakfast & rest. with teh afternoon yours to spend at your leisure and an overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Once you're done with your morning meal it will be time for a drive to Jaipur for a transfer to your hotel and an afternoon visit to the gem polishing factories and an evening attendance of the Aarti Ceremony in Birla Mandir, an extremely close to heart & unique festival for Hindus, everything about the experience, the sound, the colors the smiles surrounding you will leave you speechless. Finally, weed the day with a trip back to the hotel spending the night in Jaipur.
Its time to enjoy a full day of touring Jaipur city starting with a visit to the Amber Fort, one of the finest monuments of Rajput architecture, with views covering the deep and narrow valley and the wider plains beyond. Then we will visit the Hawa Mahal otherwise known as the palace of the wind due to its 953 windows and niches, designed to allow the women of the palace a view of the parades and festivities without revealing themselves. Finally, we end the day with a lesson in the art of Turban & Saree tying and trip back to the hotel.
Its the last day o your journey in India, we hope its nothing but heavenly and that it will be the first of many trips to come. After treating yourself to breakfast and checking out of the hotel you will be driven to Delhi international airport to board your flight back
