Welcome to Mexico City! Upon your arrival at the airport our representative will assist you and transfer you to your hotel. At the reception, a small gift related to to Day of the Dead will be waiting for you.

Enjoy the rest of the day to rest. 

After breakfast, we will go South Mexico City having the Mixquic community as final destination. We will pass through the Xochimilco  plant and flower market, where you can buy flowers to be offerings we will participate. 

Next stop will be San Pedro Atocpan, famous for a Mexican specialty known as 'El Mole'. Once in Misquic, you will place your offering on the altar of the family who is receiving us as part of the hospitality tradition. Later on, we will go for a walk in Mixquic and observe the decoration around the town and see the preparations of many families to receive their dead, such as grave decoration, handicrafts, and food. 

Return to the hosts for lunch and tasting tamales or bread with atole. 

Return to the hotel.  

After breakfast at the hotel, we will go to the Coyoacán neighbourhood to visit the Casa del “Indio” Fernández, an important figure in the Mexican cinema. The house counts with beautiful decoration and is one of the most interesting buildings from the XX century in the city.

Let's pass through the park where the house of Hernán Cortes is located, currently the headquarters of the Mayor's Office of Coyoacán.

Enjoy some free time before returning to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. We will take you to the airport for your final departure. End of the tour.
