Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel by our driver.
Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or to rest.
Have your breakfast at the hotel, then get ready for your Mexico City Tour. You will see how the Plaza de la Constitución or Zocalo is surrounded by fantastic architecture and see the National Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Templo Mayor Azteca (exterior). Next, visit the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, once the most important market of the for the Aztec empire.
Continuation to Teotihuacan, an archaeological where is located an enormous Pyramid of the Sun from 100AC, the Pyramid of the Moon from 200 AC, the Avenue of the Dead, and the Citadel, where is the Temple of Quetzalcoatl and the Butterfly Palace.
Return to the city after lunch and visit to Basilica of Guadalupe. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
After breakfast we will continue towards Tula, an old city that developed between 900 and 1200. There you will explore its pyramids.
Time to departure to Querataro, known as "Pearl of the Bajio" and a World Heritage Site. Enjoy seeing its many buildings of baroque style from the XVII and XVIII centuries.
Lunch time followed by drive to San Miguel de Allende, where you can enjoy free time. Overnight in San Miguel de Allende.
Enjoy a San Miguel city tour after breakfast. Among the sites, visit the Neo-Gothic Cathedral.
We will proceed to Atotonilco, a charming village with a chapel that dates from the XVI century and blends European and native culture influences.
Let's continue to Dolores Hilgado, a city of importance as it was where the country's independence idea as born. The famous singer José Alfredo Jiménez was buried there.
Time to hit the road again, this time towards Guanajuato. Overnight in Guanajuato.
After breakfast you will explore Guanajuato, a World Heritage Site, and see its famous attractions, such as the Monument of the Epipila, the Teatro Juárez, the Union Garden, the Plaza del Baratillo, the University, the Hidalgo Market, the Alley of the Kiss and the Alhóndiga de Granaditas.
We will continue to Tlaquepaque, a very popular stop among travellers and important pottery and glass centre in the country. Enjoy time at leisure to explore the place.
Let's proceed do Guadalajara, where you will spend the night.
We will visit the region of Tequila, and as the name suggests it is from where the famous drink comes. You will visit a farm that is dedicated to its production, and will learn about the process from plantation to tasting.
Return to Guadalajara. You will enjoy a panoramic city tour and see the many buildings that ate from the colonial times, as the city was founded in the XVI century, such as the Colony to Porphyriato, the Cathedral, the Hospice Bungalows and the Government Palace.
Time to visit the larrest natural lake in the country, the lake Chapala, and admire the beautiful mountains landscape. We will pass by Michoacán until our next destination.
Arrival in Tzintzuntzan and short city tour because we must proceed to Patzcuaro, one of the prettiest villages in Mexico and where you will enjoy a city tour followed by time at leisure.
Continuation to Morelia by end afternoon, which is a World Heritage site and has 253 arcades. .
You will enjoy a tour in Morelia. The city is a rich example of Spanish-American baroque architecture from the XVII and XVIII centuries. Visit to the Cathedral (outdoor Baroque and Neoclassical Interior), the Plaza de Armas, the Government Palace, the Clavijero Palace and its aqueduct.
Departure to Tepotzotlan and visit to the Baroque style church (today the Virreinal Museum).
Return to Mexico City by late afternoon.
Enjoy this day to explore Mexico City on your own and discover more about this fascinating place. You can visit the Museum of Anthropology, stroll in Xochimilco or take an excursion to Cuernavaca and Taxco.
Time to continue towards Puebla, where you will visit the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Chapel of the Rosary, the House of The Dolls, the Society of Jesus, the University, the Plazuela, the Alley of the Toads, and the House of the Alfeñique. ENjoy some time at leisure before lunch.
Departure to Oaxaca.
We will go to Monte Albán, ancient capital Zapotec, and from there we will visit Coyotepec. The town is a producer of vases in black clay.
Continuation to a textile region called Teotitlán del Valle. You will have the opportunity to see how the fabrics are made.
Last but not least, visit the ancient Tule tree before returning to Oaxaca.
Time to go to the next stop, which is Veracruz. Located in the Gulf of Mexico, you will enjoy time at leisure and in the afternoon visit the Fort of San Juan de Ulúa, the Baluarte de Santiago, the Lighthouse, the Civil Registry, the modern area of the city and Boca del Río.
Departure to Tlacotlalpan, a riverside town, for a brief tour.
Continuation to San Andres Tuxtla, where we will visit a cigar factory.
Transfer to Catemaco. Check-in at the hotel and we will already leave for the Nanciyaga reserve, where you can participate of a ritual of purification.
In the evening, you can opt to perform the ritual of the Setemascal bath.
Time to departure to Chiapas de Corso, from where we will take a boat and tour the Grijalva river. The beautiful Sumidero Canyon is the highlight.
Once we return to Chiapas, we will visit La Pila fountain, which style's resembles the crown of the Catholic kings.
Transfer to San Cristobal De Las Casas. Lunch followed by accommodation.
Enjoy a pleasant morning exploring San Cristobal De Las Casas. We will start by the indigenous, followed by the temple of Santo Domingo and the amber museum.
Tour in San Juan Chamula, a place of boats where we will visit the colorful communities Tzotziles and Zinacantán (thick water).
Enjoy the rest of the time at leisure in San Cristobal de las Casas.
We will be adventurous and reach the Yaxhá River, which means Blue Water, and enjoy the beautiful waterfalls of Agua Azul. The water colour plus the surrounding green vegetation form a fantastic view.
Continuation to visit and possibility of bathing on the Misol-Ha waterfalls.
Transfer to Palenque.
In Palenque you will visit its archaeological site of white stones, among them the Temple of The Inscriptions (Tomb of Pakal), the Palace, Temples of the Sun and the Foliada Cross, Queen's Bath in Otulum Creek.
Lunch on route to Campeche, a fortified city and Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Overnight in Campeche
We will continue to Uxmal, an archaeological site of Mayan architecture where you will visit the Pyramid of the Soothsayer, the friezes of the Quadrangule of the Nuns, the shells of the Turtle Building and the Governor's Temple.
After lunch we will continue to Merida and have a city tour. Visit to the Residential Zone, the Monument to the Fatherland, the Paseo Montejo, the Twin Houses, 60th Street, the Zocalo and the Cathedral.
Transfer to Chichen Itza, a wonder of Mayan heritage where we will visit the Observatory, the Castle Pyramid, the Ball Game, the Sacred Cenote and other temples.
Enjoy some free time before lunch followed by a visit to the Cenote de Ikkil.
We will transfer you to Cancun or Riviera Maya at your hotel. It is the end of this package and services.
