Itinerary at a Glance
Day 1: Welcome to Mexico City
After landing at the airport, you will be transferred you to your hotel. You can start your trip to Mexico settling in and exploring the beautiful, lively, and ancient Mexico City.
Day 2: City Tour and Anthropology Museum
While on your trip to Mexico get to know one of the world’s biggest and most exciting cities! On your second day, you will enjoy a vibrant city tour and visit the Anthropology Museum. After the 2-hour tour, you are welcome to explore the museum further on your own or further explore Mexico City.
Day 3: Pyramids of Teotihuacan and The Shrine of Guadalupe
The day trip to Teotihuacan is most certainly a trip that you will never forget during your trip to Mexico. After breakfast at your hotel, you and your fellow travelers will be driven to the Pyramids of Teotihuacan and the Shrine of Guadalupe. You can admire the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon or climb all the way to the top and admire the spectacular view.
After that, you can continue exploring the Avenue of the Dead, the Temple of the Butterflies, and the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, among other sites.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
Day 4: Mexico City - Cuernavaca – Taxco
After breakfast, you will visit the colonial towns of Cuernavaca and Taxco. These owns were both settled by Europeans, and Cuernavaca houses the Palace of Cortez, one of the oldest conserved colonial structures in the Americas.

Day 5: Taxco - Acapulco
After breakfast, you will depart from Taxco and travel to the Pacific Coast, to the resort town of Acapulco. In the 1950’s, this town was a renown destination for the glamorous international community. It has a spontaneous and festive atmosphere that draws a crowd to this day.
Upon arrival, you’ll get to settle in at your hotel. In the afternoon we recommend an (optional) boat trip in the Aca Rey Yacht around Acapulco Bay to take in the full tropical paradise.

Day 6: Highlights of Acapulco (Not Available On Mondays)
Continuing with your trip to Mexico, Acapulco could never be fully experienced in a single day, So we’re giving you two! Discover the vibrant and fascinating historical heritage that Acapulco has to offer.
Attend a pre-booked city tour and then spend the rest of the day exploring the city’s many chapels, cathedrals, and beach sites. Your tour will end at La Quebrada with their famous Cliff Divers Show.

Day 7: Acapulco – Merida
From Acapulco, you will be transfer to Mexico City International Airport and fly to the city of Merida (be sure to arrive before 1pm and contact us in case you need different options of domestic flights).
Once you have arrived and settled into your hotel, you will begin your panoramic tour of Merida. After that, you will have the rest of the day to experience the city on your own, visit sites, and try delicious local restaurants.

Day 8: Uxmal & Kabah
After breakfast, you’ll get a chance to tour two of the most prominent Mayan cities to date on your trip to Mexico. Uxmal is the most prominent archaeological site of the Puuc Route, a series of ancient Mayan cities that share the same architectural patterns.
Later, you’ll head south to explore the ancient city of Kabah. This site isn’t far from Uxmal and belongs to the Puuc route as well. In Kabah, we will see the famous Arch that connects the city with Uxmal, the Great Pyramid, and the stunning Temple of the Masks.

Day 9: Merida - Chichen Itza – Cancun
After spending your last night in Merida, you’ll head out for a tour of the ancient Mayan city of Chichen Itza. Later, you’ll have lunch at a local restaurant and then continue on to Cancun.
Once you’ve settled into your hotel in Cancun, you will have the rest of the day to explore the city, the beaches, and any water sports you may want to partake in.
