    Day 1: Arrival in Cuzco

    Upon your arrival in Cuzco you will be met and assisted by our tour representative, who will then transfer you to the hotel. 

    Enjoy the day at leisure to rest from the flight.

    Day 2: Cuzco Day Tour

    Start Peru Guided Tour with a Day tour in Cuzco, which was the capital during the Inca Empire. The tour includes the Convent of Santo Domingo and the Cathedral before we head off to the Cuzco hills to visit the fortress of Sacsayhuamán.

    Next, let's go to Qenqo, an archaeological religious site and finally to Puka Pukara, in Quechua. It is was fort of military use.

    Day 3: Sacred Valley | Pisac | Ollantaytambo

    Let’s head to the Sacred Valley and visit the The Palace of Tissues known as Awanakancha, considered a living museum. Take the opportunity to learn more about the techiniques used to produce the famous Peruvian garments. 

    Explore the Pisac market of local handmade products and then we will continue to Ollantaytambo, an example of the Inca’s urban planning of the Incas that still is inhabited nowadays.

    Day 4: Aguas calientes | Machu Picchu

    After breakfast we will start a journey through Aguas Calientes, which offers a great Andean landscape view, until reaching Machu Picchu by tour bus. 

    In Machu Picchu you will know everything about its history, cultural facts, how it was built and will visit important monuments such as the main square, the royal quarters, the three-window temple, the circular towers, the sacred clock and the cemeteries. 

    After the tour we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and overnight. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. 

    Note: Due to luggage restrictions on board trains to and from Machu Picchu, passengers can only carry one (1) small package of maximum 5 kg.

    Day 5: Machu Picchu | Cuzco

    Dedicate the morning to another visit to Machu Picchu so you can see parts not explored on the previous day. If you wake up early you will be able to enjoy the beauty of the mountain during the first sun rays. Some interesting suggestions of visiting: Intipunku (Puerta del Sol) and the Inca Bridge. 

    In the afternoon you will embark on the train back to Cuzco and upon arrival will be taken to your hotel.

    Day 6: Leisure day in Cuzco

    Enjoy a free day at leisure in Cuzco.

    Day 7: Final Departure

    It is the end of the tour. After breakfast you will be taken to the airport in order to catch the flight back home or to your next destination.
