Itinerary at a Glance

Day 1: Arrival in Cuzco

On your arrival, our tour representative will be present at the airport to transfer you to the hotel of your choice. The rest of the day is yours to relax or, if time allows, to take a requested trip. 

Overnight in Cusco.

 

Day 2: Cuzco Day Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel at 13.00 to 13.30 pm for the tour of Cusco City, built on the foundations of Inca palaces. Our first stop is the Main Square, followed by the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha) and the Cathedral of Cusco, with its remarkable paintings and sculptures. We then proceed to Sacsayhuaman, a sacred space for Sun, Moon, and Earth worship, and an old military fortress and astrological center. Afterwards, we will visit Q'enco, a fire-related cult center, and Puca Pucara, used as a supply center and an Inca checkpoint for wind ceremonies. Finally, we will arrive at Tambomachay, a place of worship for water and fertility. Once finished, we will return to the hotel.

Day 3: Sacred Valley | Pisac | Ollantaytambo

In the morning, you will be transferred to the train station to start the tour to the Sacred City of Machu Picchu, which is renowned as one of the world's wonders and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Then go to Aguas Calientes by train, then take a bus to the Archaeological Centre and begin the guided tour that lasts around two hours. During the visit, you can observe temples, squares, terraces, homes, and barns; as well as the abundant biodiversity that inhabits the area. It is important to note that the gorgeousness of Machu Picchu is enhanced by the breathtaking scenery in which it is situated. Around the citadel, a National Reserve with an area of 32,500 hectares has been established; it includes a multitude of archaeological monuments that are believed to be part of the Machu Picchu complex and not as individual sites. At the specific time, you will return to Aguas Calientes, where a lunch has been arranged. Afterward, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 4: Aguas calientes | Machu Picchu

On the 4th day, you will be taken to the train station for the excursion to Machu Picchu, a place renowned as one of the wonders of the world and a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take the train to arrive at Aguas Calientes, then you will take a bus up to the archaeological site for a guided tour which will last about two hours. You will see temples, squares, terraces, houses and barns, as well as the amazing biodiversity of the area. The beauty of Machu Picchu is further amplified by its incredible surrounding landscape. The National Reserve, which encompasses 32,500 hectares, contains a variety of archaeological monuments that are believed to have been constructed as part of the Machu Picchu complex and not individually. After the tour, you will be taken to Aguas Calientes where lunch is provided, before being transferred back to your hotel.

Day 5: Machu Picchu | Cuzco

5th day of your tour, we will take the train back to Cusco. When we reach our destination, our guided tour will be there to take you to your hotel.

Day 6: Leisure day in Cuzco

Enjoy a free day at leisure in Cuzco.

Day 7: Final Departure

The tour is coming to an end. After breakfast, you will be transported to the airport so that you can take the flight back to your residence or your next stop.
