Day 10: Amboseli National Park

Take a game drive in the morning. Amboseli is most recognized for its stunning scenery of Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa's highest mountain at 19,341 feet). The park provides the best opportunity to get up close and personal with the big elephants, Cape buffalo, zebra, wild dog, and other animals that may be seen.
Relax in your lodge throughout the day's heat. In the afternoon, you will go on a game viewing drive. All meals and lodging are provided at the lodge.  Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge is where you'll pass the night.

This refuge was used extensively in the film "Out of Africa." All species of animals, including the big five, can be found in abundance. The yearly migration of millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles from the Serengeti plains across the Tanzanian border and the Mara river to the Maasai Mara grazing areas, which begins in late June, is a sight to behold. The game reserve is teeming with birdlife, with close to 450 different species documented. Spend the night in Mara Serena Safari Lodge  located in the Mara Serena National Park.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Day 14: Safari in the Maasai Mara

After muffins and coffee, go for another early morning game drive. Remember that each game drive is unique, and because the camps are small, the drives can be adapted to the group's preferences. If you come across a lioness on the prowl, your driver and guide can always halt for an hour or two. Return to the resort for a late lunch, then keep an eye out for wildlife, read, or simply relax. Set out on your late afternoon game drive after lunch and a nap. You'll stop for a drink at the journey's end and watch the sunset over the Maasai Mara. Mara Serena Safari Lodge is where you'll spend the night.
