Morocco Vacation Package: Imperial Cities With Sahara Adventure

Welcome to Casablanca, the beating heart of Morocco, upon arrival your local guide will greet you in the airport outside of Gate number 2 to be specific. Your Morocco vacation tour will start with a drive to the north, Rabat where you will check into your Hotel for an overnight stay.  

Overnight in: Rabat.

Once you've been treated to a fulfilling breakfast, get ready for a guided tour of Rabat and its fascinating history. The tour will begin with a visit to Chellahand Kasbah Oudd. Following our first visit will be some free time to stroll through the city and explore its many exotic souqs & Bazaars in the Old Medina. Our next stop will be the Cafe Maure, located on the banks of the Bouregrag river for a fascinating view and a traditional cup of mint tea and some "Kaab Ghazal" & "Ghoraiba", two Moroccan Delicacies

Our next heading will be Fez, making a stop at the ancient Roman attraction, the Volubilis Ruins which was interestingly declared and listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. A special Guide will be with you during your time at the ruins and will then accompany you to one of Morocco's other Imperial Cities, Meknes. Meknes was built by Moulay Sultan to create Morocco's own Versailles. Upon meeting your local guide you shall proceed with your visits to Meknes starting with the Famous Bab El-Mansour gate & Lihri, two central locations of the city, afterward continuing your way to Fez. Fun Fact the meaning of Kaab Ghazal in Arabic is A Dears hoof which alongside the Ghoraiba &Mint tea forms symbols of Moroccan hospitality.  Overnight in: Fez.

It's the third day of your Morocco vacation tour and you're first in Fez, once the capital of the middle eastern giant that is Morocco back in 1912. Your first set of visits will be all about exploring the highlights of Fex including its Median and all the other major sites such as Bou-Inania and AttarinMedersa, the tanners, Ess-Seffarine Square, Moulay Idris's tomb, El-Nejjarine square, and the cabinet makers’ souk, the Hebrew district Mellah. As the saying goes all work & no play makes Jack a very dull boy, that's why your next stop will be a lesson in the art of pottery taught by a local pottery master. Once we've settled down for some lunch, experiencing moroccos local cuisine, the rest of the day is yours to use as you see fit whether it's calling it a day and heading back to your hotel or exploring more of the city. Overnight in: Fez.

Following a healthy breakfast, we will be heading to Ifran & Midlet with Erfoud acting as our gateway portal of sorts to the Majestic Sahara of Morocco. The desert is well known amongst archaeologists for its housing of fossils that date back hundreds of years. Once we've arrived at our destination we will head off on an adventure through the Sahara on a 4 wheel drive across barrens & Dunes, allowing you to appreciate the beautiful sunset as we make our way to Merzouga. Interesting Fact, Erfoud is also known as Madfouna which translates into buried in Arabic. Overnight in: Merzouga.

Meals: Breakfast and dinner.

Local Experience: The desert camp

Arise to the captivating sunset of the sun rays shining over the desert dunes and prepare yourself for a journey between Erfoud & Ouarzazate. While on our way we will be stopping at the Todra Gorge located southwest of Tinerhir and almost 110 klicks from Ouarzazate. Once you've got a chance to get some great photos we will hit the road again on our way to Ouarzazate, making one last stop on the way at the Skoura one of Morocco's most picturesque oases. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Local experience: Camel ride.

After enjoying a splendid breakfast you will spend a day in the shoes of movie Directors, Stars and daring stuntmen at the famous Atlas Studios, the birthplace of some of Todays most amazing movies and series, such as The Mumy, Russel Crows Gladiator, Asterix & Obelix and brace for it Game of Thrones. While on our way, you will be able to enjoy an amazing view of the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass and Ait Ben Haddou. Upon our arrival at Marrakesh, you will have the rest of the day to yourselves to do as you please.

Today is the day where you will experience Marrakesh,  the richest point in your Morocco vacation tour, the dreamy city of Morocco, so make the best of it. Once breakfast you will be driven to Ochre City, where your tour for the day will start starting with the Majorelle Gardens afterward the Menara (aka the Lighthouse), then the Koutoubia Mosque & the Jewish quarter of Mallah. Finally, we conclude the day with lunch at a local restaurant & a carriage ride to Jamaa El Fnaa. Side Note, Marrakesh was once known as the land of the seven men who were renowned religious scholars that devotes their lives to worship & Knowledge. Overnight: in Marrakech.
