Despite the tap water being fine for purposes such as washing your teeth or taking a bath, we wouldn’t recommend it for drinking purposes, for that your better off sticking with bottled water.

The answer is actually and surprisingly no, there are no legally required vaccinations. Still, yet again it’s better to be safe than sorry and take the routine vaccinations alongside a prescription for Malaria and you shall be fine.

Laundry services are pretty common and not rare in Zambia with several laundry services available in hotels, camps & Lodges throughout Zambia. Throughout most washing in lodges is done by hand, excluding all that is considered undergarments.

Although ATMs are common in larger cities, such as Livingstone & Lusaka, with most of them accepting Visa cards, not Master cards. But they won’t be nearby you as you go through your Safari. Therefore it’s advisable to have some cash close at hand.  

The electrical current in Zambia runs on a 220V, despite adaptors generally being available in hotels. If you are going to use electrical appliances then you might need an adapter in case the pin configuration is diffrent.
