Itinerary at a Glance
Day 1: Arrival in Riyadh
Experience a warm welcome from TravelVerse upon your arrival in the bustling capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. You will then be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay in Riyadh for a duration of two nights.
Day 2: Touring Riyadh
- Begin your day by exploring Diriyyah, a heritage-listed site located on the outskirts of Riyadh. This historic site is believed to be the birthplace of the first Saudi state and currently serves as the residence of the royal family. The mud-brick walls that once surrounded this city housed a thriving desert community known for its cultural and commercial significance. In 1745, Diriyyah was designated as the country's capital, laying the groundwork for what would eventually become modern-day Saudi Arabia.
- Take a leisurely stroll through the old town to marvel at its ancient ruins, including remnants of grand palaces, houses, and marketplaces. Proceed to visit Masmak Fort located within Riyadh's old quarter. Constructed during Abdullah bin Rashid's reign in 1895 A.D., this fort offers insight into Saudi Arabian history and architecture. Afterward, explore Dirah Souq – a vibrant market renowned for its colorful array of textiles ranging from silk fabrics to luxurious pashminas – before enjoying lunch.
- In the afternoon, embark on a guided tour through The National Museum – an invaluable national treasure recognized as a World Heritage Site. Comprised of eight galleries showcasing various aspects of Arabian history chronologically curated - this museum offers visitors an immersive experience that unravels stories spanning centuries past.
- Continue to Murabba Palace, built by King Abdul Aziz in 1937. A family dwelling, it was constructed from local materials and is composed of several smaller palaces, service buildings, and the Royal Diwan. Return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Flying from Riyadh to AlUla
- After transferring to the airport in the morning, you will board a flight that will take you northwest to Al-Ula. Once you arrive, spend your afternoon exploring the incredible sights of Madain Saleh, which is listed as a World Heritage site.
- Madain Saleh was once the southernmost settlement of the Nabatean kingdom and was known as 'Al Hegra' during ancient times. It served as an important stopover on a highly prosperous trade route. The site covers an area of 2000 square meters and is filled with relics and tombs that were carved into rocks by the Nabateans. Some notable attractions within Madain Saleh include the Nabatean Well, Qasr Al Bint, Diwan Tomb, Al Farid Palace, and even a preserved railway station.
- During your tour at Madain Saleh, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant where you can savor delicious meals. If time allows, proceed to Harrat Uairedh, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape from its highest point in town.
- Return to the hotel for an overnight in AlUla for 2 nights.

Day 4: Al Ula Excursions
- Begin your full day of sightseeing in AlUla by meeting your guide in the hotel lobby. Spend the day discovering the marvels of Dadan and Jabal Ikmah, which are both recognized as World Heritage Sites. Jabal Ikmah is often described as a vast open-air library, boasting the highest concentration and most diverse range of inscriptions in all of AlUla. Dadan serves as the capital for both the Dadan and Lihyan kingdoms, with its stone-built city showcasing a rich history dating back to between the 9th and 8th centuries BCE. This historical city also boasts over ten tombs that have been expertly carved into red-rock cliffs. Among these tombs, perhaps the most renowned are known as 'Lion Tombs', featuring majestic lion sculptures that mark where members of elite society were laid to rest.
- Following your exploration of these mountainous areas, make sure to visit Old Town, where you can uncover more about Al-Ula's fascinating past while strolling through its oasis and local farms.
- After replenishing yourself with some refreshments, continue on towards one iconic landmark - Elephant Rock. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in AlUla.

Day 5: AlUla- Tabuk
- Begin your day by checking out of the hotel and meeting your Guide in the lobby.
- Today, you will embark on an exciting road trip to Tabuk, covering a distance of 360km with a brief 30-minute stop along the way. After reaching Tabuk, check in to your accommodations and enjoy a quick lunch. In the afternoon, get ready for an adventure as you explore Deise Valley, also known as Wadi Deise. This magnificent mountainous region is considered one of Saudi Arabia's most breathtaking natural landscapes. Sitting at an altitude of 400 meters above sea level, this valley offers mesmerizing views and serene surroundings.
- Al Disah translates to "The Valley of Palm Trees," owing to its lush vegetation surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs that are perfect for exploration. As you navigate through this captivating valley, be prepared for exhilarating river crossings amidst dense foliage. Keep an eye out for camels roaming freely in their natural habitat while local farmers skillfully herd their goats from one location to another. The entire experience promises both tranquility and excitement as you immerse yourself in the wonders of nature found within Wadi Deise. Return to hotel and overnight in Tabuk.

Day 6: Exploring the Tabuk Desert
- After enjoying your morning meal, embark on a tour of the Hisma desert in Tabuk. This captivating desert, with its diverse landscapes and rich cultural heritage, extends all the way to Wadi Rum in Jordan. Among its notable mountains are Bajdah, Al-Zeitah, Alqan, and Al-Lowz. It is worth noting that this region was once inhabited by the Nabataeans and served as a significant route for pilgrims and traders.
- During your visit to Tabuk, make sure to include Jabal Al Lawz in your itinerary. Translated as "Almond Mountain" in Arabic, it stands at an impressive height of 2,549 meters and is considered the tallest mountain in Tabuk Province. What sets it apart is its unique feature of receiving snowfall almost every year, making it an ideal destination for winter hiking enthusiasts. Many scholars and historians believe that Jabal al Lawz holds great religious importance due to its resemblance to Mount Sinai—the sacred site where Prophet Moses had his profound encounter with God.

Day 7: Flight to Jeddah
- In the morning, after breakfast at your hotel in Tabuk, you will be transferred to Jeddah airport for your flight back home or onward journey.
- Upon arrival at Jeddah airport later in the evening, you will be transported from there directly to your hotel, where you can complete check-in procedures before settling down for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 8: Jeddah - Madinah - Jeddah
- Start your day by being picked up from your hotel and taken to the Jeddah train station, where you will board a high-speed seating train bound for Madinah. The journey typically takes around 2 hours, with a maximum speed of 300 KM/H.
- Upon arrival at the Madinah train station, you will be greeted by your personal guide who will accompany you on a day tour. The tour includes visits to the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization, as well as Qiba Street which serves as a connecting route between the Holy Mosque and Qiba Mosque. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore Souq Taiba.
- Lunch in a local restaurant, then, access to these mosques is restricted for non-Muslims, they can still admire their beauty from the outside.
- Afterwards, return to Jeddah by boarding the train for your journey back. Once arrived at the Jeddah train station, private transportation will be provided to take you back to your hotel where you can relax and spend an overnight stay in Jeddah.

Day 9: Jeddah
- Begin the day by visiting the Tayebat Museum, a privately owned collection spread across four floors. This museum boasts an extensive range of exhibits, including pre-Islamic artifacts, exquisite Islamic manuscripts, ancient coins, and weapons, beautiful furniture, pottery, and traditional Saudi attire.
- Afterward, explore the Jeddah Open Museum. Located in a picturesque area along the new corniche, this museum houses one of the largest collections of models. It offers plenty of picnic spots for visitors to enjoy.
- Don't miss out on seeing the stunning 'floating mosque,' which seems to effortlessly float on the surface of the water while shimmering in the sunlight. Take a moment to admire its breathtaking views over the Red Sea.
- Next up is King Fahd's Fountain, or Jeddah Fountain - renowned for being the tallest fountain in its category worldwide. Shooting salt water from the Red Sea up into the air at heights exceeding 300 meters and speeds surpassing 300 kilometers per hour.
- The tour then takes you to Al-Balad (Old Town), where you can witness Jeddah's traditional architecture. One notable house is the Nasif House - considered one of the most beautiful structures built by the influential trading family Nasif Family during the 1850s; they played a significant role in shaping the history of Jeddah. Return to the hotel for overnight in Jeddah.

Day10: Depart Jeddah
You will leave Jeddah. After having breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
