Welcome to San José, Costa Rica. Reception at Juan Santamaría airport
and transfer to hotel in San José.
The capital of San José is located in the middle of the Central Valley
and in the center of the country, considered one of the most
cosmopolitan cities in Latin America. The city is located in a strategic
point near the main tourist attractions such as: historical buildings,
museums, theaters, artisan markets, beautiful parks, shopping centers
and offers a varied gastronomic offer.
Overnight in San Jose

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in the morning where you will cross
the Braulio Carrillo National Park, which is the largest in the central
region, until you reach the Guápiles area where you will enjoy a
delicious typical breakfast. On the way, you will pass through banana
plantations until you reach the jetty where you will board your boat.
From here, the boat tour will continue, crossing rivers and canals,
approximately an hour and a half until arriving at the hotel for lunch
time. In the afternoon, guided visit to the picturesque town of
Tortuguero. Dinner included at the lodge.
Overnight in Tortuguero

Guided walk in the morning on the private trails of the lodge. Free
time to enjoy the facilities before lunch. In the afternoon, boat tour
through the canals of the Tortuguero National Park. Tortuguero
National Park is one of the wild areas with the greatest biological
biodiversity, famous for being the habitat of seven species of turtles,
surrounded by tropical forests and exuberant fauna. We also
recommend the nocturnal turtle spawning excursion. Dinner included.
Overnight in Tortuguero

Mid-morning departure through the canals to take transport
terrestrial, after
disembark at the dock where a stop will be made again in the Guápiles
area. After lunch, you will continue by private transfer or 4x4 rental car
to the South Caribbean, Puerto Viejo de Limón.
The Caribbean area is identified by its cultural richness full of Afro-
descendant and indigenous nuances and that finally they form a
unique mix in the country.

Free day to enjoy the beautiful beaches, covered with tropical
vegetation and allow the mixture of adventure activities and natural
history that is definitely complemented by culture, gastronomy and
music. The coral reefs, beaches of multicolour sands (from black,
yellow and grey), coastal vegetation and forests of medium height
stand out.
Overnight in Puerto Viejo

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the Northern Plains where the impressive and conical
Arenal Volcano, one of the natural wonders of the country for its
majesty. You will drive along the route until reaching the small town of
La Fortuna located at the foot of the imposing Arenal Volcano. You will
be able to appreciate agricultural plantations, ornamental plants and
cattle farms.

Departure in the morning for the walk inside the Arenal Volcano National Park, where it will take
you through vegetation and terrainchanging of the ancient lava rivers
called the coladas.
Later, hike to Río Fortuna Waterfall, located in a biological reserve of
tropical humid pre-montane transitional forest that is part of the
Arenal Volcano National Park. The path has 530 steps, with
comfortable rest areas. Finally you can take a refreshing swim in the
crystal clear waters of the Fortuna River followed by lunch.

Breakfast at the hotel.
This morning your journey will take you to the warm Central Pacific.
If your choice is in Manuel Antonio, this is the smallest of Costa Rica's
national parks but also one of the most visited for its beautiful beaches
between mountains, forests and the wildlife in its natural habitat that
it offers.
If Punta Leona is your choice this is a fascinating place for nature
lovers and bird watchers who are exposed to a piece of Costa Rica's rich biological diversity.

Free day to enjoy the beach, the sun and the sea and the chance to
come across different species of animals in their natural habitat. Relax
on the beach feeling the breeze and listening to the sounds of the sea.
Overnight in Manuel Antonio/Punta Leona

This day will be your return to the Central Valley. Your transfer to San
José is scheduled for after noon; enjoy your last morning in this
tropical environment and take advantage of the paradisiacal beaches.
At night you can visit typical Costa Rican restaurants with masquerade
shows and typical music or if
He prefers it, to taste national and international cuisine in one of the
excellent restaurants in the city.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Juan Santamaría Airport, remember to be at the air terminal
at least 3 hours before your departure flight, your rental car can be returned at the office near the
